I was awake at 7am as usual but with a very sore throat and a banging headache. After breakfast the others went down and got sunbeds and I went back to bed.

The difficulty about being in the lounge is that obviously everyone else has to come in and out. I didn’t sleep deeply but better than being awake I think. Theraflu didn’t hit the spot which is unusual.

I had some toast for lunch. The poorly toaster was even worse today. We told the owner about it when we arrived here. The microwave was taken away a few days ago for repair and has never reappeared.

Thank goodness it won’t be our problem in another 4 days.

A bit more dozing. More Theraflu.

The others went off to eat and shortly after I got a paneer labradoodle takeaway from Cedrous across the road.

So, that was it for Wednesday.

3 full days left to fill. Roll on Sunday morning.
