Liz and I are sharing a double bed here, there’s no singles and the only way we could stay at this place was to share.
We had breakfast at Forget me Not, Manveers place and our sunbeds were saved, as promised. Although a woman of unknown origin didn’t think we should have 4 sunbeds for 4 people. The staff pointed out a sunbed she could have a few feet away.
Breakfast was lovely apart from the undrinkable coffee. The staff are very sweet here.
We have a kind of car boot sale to our left, a catamaran in front, sunbed lady to our right and a man playing the violin behind us.

His playing reminded me of Name that Tune. He then began a drony selection of monotonal sings. The only one I recognised was Blowing in the Wind. When he began to whistle I began cringing. I’m not musical, so shouldn’t really judge.
I’d have been happy to have the whistling back as some men turned up and began dismantling some large wooden and metal objects near us.
Somehow I managed to doze off, I was on page 3 of Birds Without Wings. By the end of the day I’d made it to page 5.
Around 2pm I was a bit stir crazy and went of to find the blue building that has fabulous dosa, recommended by a couple we met last night.
It was delicious. I opted for a cheese one.

I ended up walking a long way, the village is much bigger than I thought. I also went to Raheems shop to buy a new plug adapter as mine had fizzled and stopped working. What a weird shop that is. Packed full of stuff you can’t get to, have to ask the guy for what you might want.
I had a Cadbury deluxe Feast ice cream on the way back. Excellent.
We met up with Dave and Karen, also here from Turkiye in the evening. A delicious candle lit meal on the beach at Agonda, Sunset beach. I tried the Manchurian, also recommended, usually a fusion of Indian and Chinese. The waiter said they’re from Nepal, so it’s Nepalese fusion.
We’ve met many waiters from Nepal. They all say how beautiful it is, one showed me photos, it does look gorgeous. It’s not a very long flight from here… Hmmmm…
At the beach restaurant the waiter packed up a box of leftover roti and chips. Apparently the cows will eat anything. I’ve been desperate to feed them but wasn’t sure what with.
Off we went towards a swanky looking bar. It’s always packed. As luck would have it a cow walked towards us. Dave gave it some roti.

I took some and also fed it. Dave had the plastic bag in his hand and walked off into the bar.
The cow followed…
I got the bag from Dave and distracted it with the rest of the food, it was headbutting me as I wasn’t getting it out quickly enough!! A skinny street dog got the chips.
After that hilarity we couldn’t really show our faces in there, next thing Sharon stepped into a cow pat so off we went to Bobby’s bar, apparently there’s some real characters in there.

.
Before I had a chance to sit down a man invited me to sit next to him. I avoided all eye contact. He came over later, evidently he was sure we’d met a couple hours before.. Mistaken identity..
Kevin realised he had lost his bum bag, containing his reading glasses, probably left at Sunset Agonda.
After his book palaver he got loads of stick from all of us. It’s a good thing he loves it and can give as good as he gets.
The venue was bizarre, quirky and fabulous all at the same time. We laughed loads and had a brilliant evening. Almost 1am when we got back.
