I woke early and went and enjoyed the tranquility of the terrace. Nothing but birdsound. The sun was up but there was still a slight chill.
Sharon joined me a bit later, she was reading her book, all calm, lovely. Kevin joined us, laptop in hand and began researching breakfast venues. And dinner. And breakfast tomorrow and so on. It’s hilarious, we never actually hatch a plan and by the time we set off he’s forgotten the names of the restaurants.
We had a chat with the lady on the next roof terrace to us, she told us a bit about the background of our apartment. It was previously 2, now knocked into 1, which explains it’s lovely size.
Kevin asked her for food recommendations, she mentioned a few, as did a man and and another lady he asked. Kevin forgot them all. He’s definitely our hunter gatherer but still needs work.
We spotted A3 Bros Restaurant on the way to the beach. It has great reviews but doesn’t open until 11.30am.
So we continued to the first beach shack we saw, Sunshine. A limited breakfast menu of omelettes and pancakes. I ordered pineapple pancake. The others had eaten their omelette by the time mine arrived. She had forgotten to make it.
I had offered my notebook and a pen to Kevin. He didn’t want it. I might give it to the Sunshine lady, she might be more appreciative. She was so apologetic. A very sweet lady.
We spent the rest of the day on the beach, it’s very quiet here.

Back at the ranch it was time to decide where to eat. We all opted for Martin’s Corner. 13 minutes away
It was as perfect as before, I couldn’t resist the biryani again. They had a singer, he was very good.
No card games on the terrace as another late one.
Does anyone want a mountain of snacks and drinks?
