Liz and I were woken at 7.30am by the Indian family that arrived yesterday. Their kids are a bit feral. They shout at each other as if one of them is in Africa. The parents take no notice.
Worse still, Liz was woken at 3am by a male voice, Michael on the phone. Our lovely Danish neighbours heard Michael on and off all night. They were tempted to go out and shout at the ferals. Worse still again, they have a terrible smell in their bathroom, now treated with chemicals and have rotten headaches.
Our morning walk was a little later today, at 9am because the other end of the beach is nearer.

Equally stunning. We are contemplating a boat trip tomorrow morning. It entails getting up early for a 7am start, but is cooler and the best time to see the birds.Trouble is we have 2 cards from 2 captains, who to WhatsApp?
Breakfast today at Ramyga cafe and Bistro. Kevin was taking the mickey out of me. Last week I asked a waiter if the Indonesian items were like real Indonesian food. Today I asked about Yak cheese omelette.
Kevin asked me if I was asking if it tastes of real yaks. Ha ha. They didn’t have any so I can’t say.
But today’s prize goes to Liz for showing a stone to a boat man and asking what it was. A stone he replied..
Breakfast was really good. Yak or no yak the cheese and mushroom omelette was fab. Indian cheese is so tasty. So was the coffee. It can be hit and miss.
At the beach Kevin and I researched accommodation for our last week here. We fancied Betalbatim or Majorda but struggled as we fancy being a bit more inland with a pool.
After a long time we’ve settled on being near Benaulim where we were last week. We found the perfect place but I got the last room. The search is on for a second one.
I couldn’t face the sunbed, so spent the time doing a bit more research and blogging in the restaurant area enjoying the lovely breeze and the occasional 2nd hand fag smoke. I’ve moved 3 times so far.
I forgot to say… While at Rhino’s last night there was a pre wedding ceremony in their garden. From 7.45pm people kept arriving, music played and they in turn poured ladles of some cloudy liquid over the bride to be and her bridesmaids heads. They didn’t seem to be enjoying it much.
I had really stupidly left my phone behind, on the table on our terrace, but this is an example of a Roce ceremony
On the subject of videos, I also forgot about yesterdays happening that I missed while out walking. I’m gutted, it must have been amazing to see. Thanks Karen for calling, I must put my volume up.
An Olive Ridley turtle returning to the sea after laying her eggs. They’re an endangered species.
When we got back from the beach, (via Ramyga cafe for cakes) our 2 Danish ladies had been replaced by an English couple. Michael has left, but apparently coming back in a few days. So the Danish ladies are in ‘his’ chalet, avoiding their previously stinky bathroom. I’m going to have to find other blogging content.
We had dinner at the Little Plantain Leaf, the blue very basic place where I had my cheese dosa. It took a long time to get our food, it was busy, but good because we were still burning off our cakes.
I opted for Ann’s aubergine masala recommendation and mushroom fried rice. Delicious.
Our favourite cow was outside Kopi Desa bar, still looking for Dave I think, She’d brought a little friend. It’s funny that she chooses to be there as there’s always loud music.

Love all the cows. We bumped into Dave & Karen who had leftovers.
Another fabulous day in Agonda. This week is flying by so fast.
Sharon has booked a boat trip for tomorrow, for 9am. So glad the 7am was already booked.
