When we went to bed last night there were street dogs barking, people chatting on the beach and music playing. It didn’t bode well but suddenly just before midnight we realised all was silent. We could only hear the sea.
John decided we would take the scenic route home. I just thought ooh good 3 or 4 hours to fathom how to post these blogs onto my new website.
Well, not really new, I got the domain last November and moving 2 blogs from WordPress took hours so I’ve not touched it since.
Maybe doing live will be easier.
Or maybe not.
Especially as the scenic route didn’t include much Internet. Regardless there’s lots to learn.
My main issues were not being able to get a logo to load, can’t unable to upload more than 1 photo at a time and the footer I edited has vanished.
The scenic route was like doing the Dalaman mountain route for 2 and a half hours but with the occasional village and huge valleys.
It really was spectacular, unlike my website.
We ended our lovely trip in style at Dalaman Prison cafe, one of our absolute favourites.
2 portions of delicious crispy chicken strips, chips, onion rings, ranch and chilli sauce, 2 milkshakes and because ice creams were only 25tl a scoop we had 2 scoops each.
All for just over a tenner. (540tl)
It’s been an excellent week.
We’ve just clocked up a 1000km. Naz has been an angel, she only needed a right hand wiper blade
Now for the unloading, laundry and cleaning.
One question though.. Who has stolen the sunshine from Muğla? It’s really grey, but warm. And no crazy wind, we definitely won’t miss that.

Another trip under your belt! Great fun following your adventures Linda all eloquently told. Congratulations x
