We didn’t get eaten by lions or tigers or bears, or even worse get moved on by the Jandarma.

We took the stunning coastal route to Güllük, a very pretty little seaside town.

We even found a tiny fruit and veg market in a little village on the way where I got the last lettuce for just 10tl. Bargain.

After lots of faffing to find the perfect place to park in Güllük John thought we should drive up to the flag overlooking the resort to get the best views.
Google said ‘turn right’
Linda said (expletives removed) ‘NO’ after seeing the steepest narrow block paved hill in the world.
John said ‘it’s fine Naz will get up there no problem.
Linda said ‘you didn’t even see it. NO! `

Back round to a civilised space with its own bit of picnicking space.

Unfortunately it was so gusty that we decided to just look at the view and watch the hardy souls with their coats and hoods up.
And the street dogs. A motley crew of 4 large and one short well fed dogs. As John said, one was the ‘super model’ of dogs, the longest legs and even walked majestically.

We made ull English brekkie, minus mushrooms as we’ve never found any. This has happened in many places on our travels over the years.

Nothing for it but to go to the next film on our download list.
The Outrun. Managed 10 minutes
Next, Don’t Worry Baby, managed 15 minutes.
Next, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind. Lovely and based on a true story.

Burgers for dinner, burger half breads actually as the buns didn’t like our freezer. They were rock hard on top with wet soggy bottoms. John had to nip out in the gale to get bread.

Pottery Throw Down and Race Across the World filled our evening.
Probably sounds a boring day, but we never sit together and watch anything at home, or chill, so it was actually great.
Johns blister is recovering in case anyone is wondering.
