I was asleep by 9.30pm last night. John was kept awake by people behind our van chatting. They left but came back later. Their motorbike was noisy.

Up and out by 7.20am, lunges, squats and stretches done and off to the start line for the 8am start.

Considering the size of the city I was surprised at the low number of 21km runners. There was also a 5 and 10km run, so maybe they were mostly doing the shorter options.

Somehow along the way I never finished this blog post. I always make short notes on my phone. They simply say :

MAFS ( Married at First Sight), Curry, no brekkie, Paddy at 12.30, Nysa Ruins, Bendy Road, Romesh Bosnia & Sahara.

So,my guess is that I made a curry while catching up with Mafs, found John after his run, he dithered about what and where to eat, I got ‘hangry’, we moved on to visit some ruins along a scary road and watched Romesh Ranganathan later.

I can only assume we had no internet where we stayed ! I’ve managed to find some photos…
